Champi lotus mark CHAMPI

Our Story

It began with a personal ritual.

Champi grew from a lifelong connection to tradition, and a shared belief that self-care should be a meaningful part of everyday life.

Growing up in India

Supriya Malhotra was deeply connected to traditional wellness practices passed down through generations. For her, champi was never just a head massage. It was a cherished ritual of nourishment, relaxation, and renewal: a weekly moment to slow down, care for herself, and reconnect with a sense of balance.

A new home in the United States

After moving to the United States, Supriya found herself missing this simple yet powerful ritual. She discovered many forms of modern wellness along the way, but never a dedicated space offering the authentic comfort and care of a traditional champi.

What began as a personal longing slowly grew into a vision: a dream to share this beautiful ritual of self-care with others.

A conversation and a glass of wine

After years of imagining, researching, and shaping what this space could become, Supriya shared the idea with her friend Vaida Domeikyte, someone who deeply values wellness, self-care, and intentional living.

Over a simple conversation and a glass of wine, a shared passion became a shared purpose, and the seed of Champi was planted.

Our Vision

More than a place for a service

Together, Supriya and Vaida set out to create a destination where people could step away from the rush of everyday life, embrace moments of stillness, and experience self-care as a ritual, not a luxury.

Champi brings together the timeless wisdom of tradition with a modern approach to wellness: a space where the head is nurtured, the mind is calmed, and the soul feels restored.

Champi: a quiet ritual for the head and heart.
